Organização da despensa II - Acessórios de Limpeza /Pantry Organization II - Cleaning Supplies

Nesta parte da despensa é onde guardo a pá, a vassoura, o aspirador, ferro e tábua de passar a ferro, queria um espaço dedicado só aos produtos de limpeza e utensílios, mas não cabem todos aqui, como mostrei no post anterior, na ultima prateleira (junto ao chão) é onde guardo alguns detergentes que são grandes e pesados, neste momento coloquei-os dentro de caixas (9€ no ikea)para não estarem tão acessíveis ao bebé A que já gatinha por todo o lado.
Arranjamos um sistema do ikea que a prateleira é extensível e conseguirmos tirar o aspirador com mais facilidade, os produtos de limpeza ficam no alto fora do alcance das crianças, vassoura e esfregona penduradas, falta pendurar a pá! Também prendemos o ferro à parede com um acessório que vende no ikea custou uns 7€, a tábua fica do lado direito e também coloco os chapéus de chuva.

A arrumação de qualquer local é um trabalho contínuo e acho que nunca está bem. Ainda estou a acabar com detergentes que comprei e não gostei assim tanto, mas como são embalagens grandes ainda demoram a acabar.

In this part of the pantry is where I keep the shovel, the broom, the vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, I wanted a space dedicated only to cleaning products and utensils, but not all fit here, as I showed in the previous post, in the last shelf (next to the floor) is where I keep some detergents that are big and heavy, at this moment I put them in boxes (9€ on ikea) so they are not so accessible to baby A who is already crawling everywhere.

We got an ikea system that the shelf is extendable and we can remove the vacuum cleaner more easily, the cleaning products are high out of the reach of children, broom and mop hanging, missing hanging the shovel! We also attached the iron to the wall with an accessory from ikea costs around 7 €, the board is on the right side and I also put on the umbrellas.

Tidying up any place is ongoing work and I think it's never going well. I'm still trying to finish out of detergents that I bought and I didn't like it them much, but as they are large packages they still take a while to finish

Essenciais bebé - Banho /Baby Essentials - Bath

Para o banho do bebé A escolhi a marca Uriage, após pesquisar as marcas mais conhecidas a Uriage foi a que reuniu mais consenso.
E apesar de adorar o cheiro da marca Mustela, optei pela Uriage.
Para já, o bebé A não tem sinais de problemas de pele, senão teremos que optar por outros produtos mais específicos.
Para a banheira, escolhemos a banheira do ikea (que é muito em conta) e adaptámos umas pernas de um berço velho que são dobráveis e podem-se fechar e guardar num armário ou atrás de uma porta, porque temos pouco espaço e assim fica tudo arrumadinho!
O termómetro achamos melhor comprar, para não errar a temperatura ideal da água.
Temos apenas duas tolhas de capuz e até agora têm sido suficientes (não comprámos, foi-nos oferecido!!)

For the baby A bath i chose the Uriage brand, after researching the best known brands, Uriage was the one that gathered the most consensus.

And although I love the smell of Mustela brand, I opted for Uriage.

Baby A has no signs of skin problems right now, otherwise we will have to choose more specific products.
For the bathtub, we chose the ikea bathtub (which is very affordable) and adapted the legs of an old crib that are foldable and can be closed and stored in a closet or behind a door, because we have little space.

The thermometer we think is better to buy, not to miss the ideal water temperature.

We only have two hooded towels and so far have been enough (we didn't buy it, we were offered !!)

Essenciais bebé - Amamentação / Baby essentials - Breastfeeding

Estou amamentar o bebé A e tem corrido bem, para amamentar no inicio não são necessários muitos produtos portanto acaba por ser mais económico que o leite artificial e é prático, pois em qualquer lado podemos amamentar.
Claro que, se deixar de ter leite, o artificial será a opção até ter idade para introduzir outros alimentos.
No futuro terei que pensar se compro ou alugo uma bomba para tirar o leite quando eu voltar ao trabalho (se ainda tiver leite).

A minha lista de essenciais:
Creme de lanolina - 17€ (gostei especialmente da marca lansinoh, é mais caro, mas preferi ao da medela que é muito mais conhecido)
Discos para reter o leite de bambu - 4€ 12 discos  (os meus são reutilizáveis e mandei vir do aliexpress)
Fraldas de algodão - 2€ cada (ikea)

I am breastfeeding my baby and is going well; Therefore, breastfeeding does not require many products at first, so it is more economical than artificial milk and is practical because we can breastfeed anywhere.

Obviously, if i no longer have milk, artificial milk will be the option until baby is old enough to introduce other foods.

In the future, I will have to see if I buy or rent a milk pump when I get back to work (if I still have milk).

My essentials list:
Lanolin cream  - 17€ (I especially liked the lansinoh brand, it's more expensive, but I preferred the much better known medela)
Bamboo disks  to hold milk 4€ /12 discs (mine are reusable and I ordered from aliexpress)
Cotton Diapers 2€ / each (ikea)

DIY Pintar letras de madeira /DIY painting wood letters

Comprámos estas letras em madeira no ikea (Lindrande) para a decoração do quarto do nosso bébé, como os tons são neutros e esta decoração é em madeira decidimos pintar com spray.
Não tem nada que saber e é super fácil, começamos por dar 1 demão de tinta branca e duas demão de azul (usámos a mesma tinta neste cesto ) e é só deixar secar muito bem.

We bought these wooden letters in the ikea (Lindrande) for the decoration of our baby's room, as the tones are neutral and this decoration is in wood we decided to use spray paint.
Has nothing to know and is super easy, we start by giving 1 coat of white paint and two coats of blue (we used the same ink as used in this basket ) and just let it dry very well.

Já tinha falado aqui que ia ter uma despensa/despenseiro novo, a verdade é que não é fácil organizar uma despensa quando queremos ser low waste porque infelizmente na nossa zona não há lojas de venda a granel. Nem faz sentido para mim estar a gastar imenso gasóleo e deslocar-me para longe para ir comprar produtos a granel, mas sempre que posso, evito os plásticos.
Muitos dos alimentos que tenho na despensa ou são de vidro ou de metal (também tenho muitos de plástico, mas como disse em cima, é difícil na minha zona comprar sem plástico).
O que tento fazer é comprar em menores quantidades para evitar desperdício (odeio deitar comida fora).
Para organizar usei estas prateleiras do ikea, (que já tinha na casa antiga), pois permite arrumar em altura e assim aproveito o armário no seu todo.
na primeira prateleira estão as conservas tanto em embalagem de vidro e em embalagem de metal.
Na segunda estão as mercearias (arroz, massas, etc)
Na terceira prateleira estão os sumos, leites e tostas e na ultima estão os detergentes, sacos papel etc.

Gostava que fosse uma despensa mais bonita e arrumadinha como vemos no pinterest.... mas nesta casa vive gente e os produtos estão sempre a entrar e sair e não é fácil manter tudo impecável.

Ainda não consegui encontrar uma solução viável para guardar os sacos que ainda vou tendo, tanto de plástico como de papel e de momento guardo todos juntos dentro de um saco grande reciclável (saco grande vermelho na prateilra do chão)

Também estou a trabalhar para fazer os meus sacos de fruta reutilizáveis com uns restos de um tecido de umas cortinas que comprei.

No próximo post mostro-vos a outra parte da despensa que é onde guardo os utensílios de limpeza.

I had already mentioned that i was going to have a new pantry/ larder, the truth is that it is not easy to organize a pantry when we want to be low waste because unfortunately there are no bulk stores in our area, and it does not make sense for me to be spending a lot of gas and moving away to go to buy bulk products, but whenever I can, I avoid plastics. What I try to do is buy in smaller quantities to avoid waste (I hate to throw food away).
To organize I used these shelves of ikea, (that already had in the old house), because it allows to arrange in height and with that shelves, i take advantage of the cabinet as a whole.
On the first shelf are the preserves both in glass packaging and in metal packaging.
In the second shelve are the grocery stores (rice, pasta, etc.)
In the third shelf are the juices, milks and toastes and in the last are the detergents, paper bags etc.
I would like it to be a more beautiful and neat pantry as we see on pinterest .... but in this house people live and the products are always coming and going and it is not easy to keep everything flawless.

I still have not been able to find a viable solution for storing the bags I still have, both plastic and paper, and I keep them all together in a large recyclable bag (Big red bag in the bottom shelf)
I'm also working to make my reusable fruit bags with some leftovers  fabric curtain I bought.

DIY Meia de Natal / Christmas stockings

Estou um pouco atrasada com os posts de natal, tenho ido muito trabalho e chego bastante tarde a casa, o que impossibilita de tirar fotos com luz natural.

Estas botas/meia que já fiz no ano passado, mas que uso sempre que a decoração é em tons de vermelho e branco.
Utilizei tecidos do ikea e foram feitas num instante.

Encontrei este molde gratuito e imprimi em A3, medi os tecidos para ver se tinha o suficiente para as 2 meias que queria fazer e adicionei a dobra de tecido com a cor a contrastar para não ficar tudo liso.

Normalmente coloco no meu aparador que decoro com outros acessórios natalícios, mas também pode ser pendurado numa porta, ou numa lareira.

I'm a bit late with the Christmas posts, I've been working a lot and I'm home late, which makes it impossible to take photos with natural light.
I made christmas socks that I made last year, but I always use the decoration in red and white.
I used ikea fabrics and they were made in no time.
I found this free template and printed on A3, measured the fabrics to see if I had enough for the 2 socks I wanted to make and added the fabric fold with the contrasting color.
I usually put it on my sideboard that I decorate with other Christmas accessories, but it can also be hung on a door, or in a fireplace.

DIY Arranjo de flores artificiais / DIY Faux flowers arrangement

Quando os dias começam a ficar maiores, gosto de usar cores mais claras em casa, começo pela colcha da cama, almofadas etc e depois adiciono uns toques de flores.
When the days start to get bigger, I like to use lighter colors at home, start with the bedspread, pillows etc and then add a few touches of flowers.

Adoro flores naturais, mas conseguem ser bastante dispendiosas.Mesmo que use todos os truques, na minha casa, nunca duram muito tempo
I love natural flowers, but they can be quite costly. Even if I use all the tricks in my house, they never last for long.

Estas flores são um pouco dispendiosas, mas como não murcham acabam por ser um bom investimento.This flowers are a little expensive, but as they do not wilt they turn out to be a good investment.

O Jarro conseguem encontrar em qualquer ikea, eu já tinha em casa, não precisei de comprar./The vase you can find in any ikea, I already had this at home, I did not need to buy.

A fita de cetim, comprei um rolo numa loja do Chinês, que me custou cerca de 1.50€

Fita de Cetim rosa com 1 cm de espessura aprox (ou outra que tenham) / pink satin ribbon with 1 cm thickness approx (or other they have)

Comecei por diminuir a altura das flores para caberem no jarro, coloquei a fita à volta do jarro e fiz um laço.
I started by lowering the height of the flowers to fit the jar, added ribbon around the jar, make a bow with the ribbon


E voilá!! já está, é facílimo! / And voilá !! That's it, it's very easy!

Nota:
Como eu gosto de arranjos cheios, usei cerca de 4 pés, mas podem fazer com o que gostarem mais.
As I like full flower arrangements, I used about 4 bunchs, but they can do with whatever you like more.
Para limpar o pó, pego no molho e sacudo muito bem :)
To clean the dust, I take it in the bunch of flowers and shake it very well in a open space :)

DIY despenseiro iluminado com luzes LED/ Cabinet with LED lights

Tivemos necessidade de fazer um despenseiro, porque os armários da cozinha não tinham arrumação suficiente e precisávamos de um local para guardar a esfregona, balde, vassoura e pá, bem como o aspirador e todas as mercearias.
Como não queríamos que o armário ficasse diferente dos outros que já temos em casa, mandámos fazer à medida para o espaço que tínhamos.
Mas só encomendámos à empresa o exterior do armário, porque o interior organizámos à nossa maneira.
Começamos por colocar prateleiras, comprámos no Leroy Merlin e cortámos na loja à medida, depois fomos ao ikea e compramos a iluminação de interior de led's que têm sensor ( Norrifly ), quer dizer que a luz só acende quando se abre as portas.
Já tínhamos este tipo de iluminação no nosso roupeiro, agora também temos na despensa.

We had the necessity to make a cabinet in our hallway, because the kitchen cabinets did not have enough space and we needed a place to store the mop, bucket, broom, as well as the vacuum cleaner and all the grocery stuff.
Because we did not want the closet to look different from the others we already have at home, we had it custom-made for the space we had.
But to the cabbinet company we only ordered the exterior, because the interior we organized in our own way.
We started by putting shelves, bought in Leroy Merlin store and cut to size, then went to ikea and bought the indoor lighting of led's (Norrifly) that have a sensor, only when the door is opened is that the light turn on.
We already have this type of lighting in our wardrobe, now we also have the pantry!
